Why is it that talent knocks on the door of some companies, while others have to compete for it? The answer, in part, is corporate culture.
Research indicates that talent gravitates towards cultures which are perceived as opportunity-rich and collaborative, invested in employee development, and both dynamic and cutting-edge.
This symposium will explore what constitutes a corporate culture that is fit for the future, given the current dynamics of the workplace. Talent and skills shortages, technological advancements, demographic changes and differing employee expectations are combining to create an environment where awareness of the need for cultural change and workplace design are vital. The majority of workplaces still reflect mid-20th century design, with a rigid definition of work and outdated approaches as to where, when and how work happens. Many employers
have flexible working policies which are not lived up to in practice. All too often, outmoded corporate cultures fail to capture the benefits of true flexibility.
Who Should Attend
Those who are responsible for organisational change and innovation, workplace effectiveness, diversity and inclusion and talent management.
About the Symposium
The day will delve into the latest research on current European workplace management, and just what those results, when integrated and applied with other strategic tools, can do to ensure workplace cultures are fit for the future. In order to accomplish this we will examine how the culture, specifically the practitioners within it, should best partner with employees so as to encourage optimal engagement and performance.
Critically, it will provide a stimulating forum for participants to explore how theory is translated into practice, including a “live” example.
Booking
Places will be limited and restricted to two bookings per organisation so do book early to avoid disappointment
