Moira started her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in 1981 when she joined the firm's Edinburgh office and shortly afterwards qualified as a member of the Institute of Taxation. In 1987 she moved to the London office for an 18 month secondment, and then on to the Uxbridge office in 1993 to support the fast growing tax practice. In 2003 Moira was appointed to the PwC's UK Management Board with responsibility for People and then in 2006 took over responsibility for Marketing, Communications & Business Development. In July 2008 she joined the Global Leadership Team with responsibility for People & Culture as well as Brand & Communications. She also chairs the PwC Gender Advisory Council. She is passionate about making PwC a great place to work not just because she wants people to enjoy working in the firm but because she strongly believes employee engagement and motivation has a significant impact on business performance.

Moira is married with two daughters who keep her busy at weekends. Her hobbies include horse riding and golf.
